proGIreg - Turin mid-term conference
Virtual tour of Turin's nature-based solutions: The conference will take participants for a virtual journey through the proGIreg Turin Living Lab's nature-based solutions in Mirafiori Sud.
Programme
April 21st // 11.00 am - Introduction to Torino Living Lab
The first stop will be a school using nature-based solutions. The second stop is an abandoned building where a green roof and a pollinator friendly garden.
April 21st // 3.00 pm - Along the Sangone river
The first stop will be a "new soil" test site and the second will be the "Orti Generali" site where citizen rented gardens and community garden areas coexist.
April 22nd // 11.00 am - In the factory block
The day starts in the vegetable garden created in a courtyard followed by exploring an outdoor green wall created at a dormitory for the homeless.
