Cultural Heritage in TransformationCopyright: Medien für die Lehre
In recent decades, the sustainable conservation of cultural heritage has become a crucial global challenge. The Faculty of Architecture has bundled its expertise in the field in an online course. Under the title "Cultural Heritage in Transformation", the departments of Architectural History, Historic Building Conservation, Art History, Landscape Architecture and the junior-professorship for Preserving Cultural Heritage teach on the e-learning platform edX how cultural heritage can be defined, explored, preserved and used for spatial development.
In order to make the online course accessible to the students of the faculty, an internal course run is offered. This run will be conducted as a blended learning course: The knowledge transfer will take place via video lectures held by the professors of the participating departments, in face-to-face meetings the students will present their own case studies.
The seminar offers students the opportunity to test digital teaching and learning formats, and invites them to contribute in the development of these. We look forward to your contributions!
