proGIreg MOOC - Nature-based Urban Regeneration: Learn how to transform your city with nature!

Productive Green Infrastructure for post-industrial urban regeneration (proGIreg), an EU Horizon2020 funded project has explored and implemented innovative NBS in cities in Europe and China since 2018 in their need to transform cities into more liveable environments by enhancing life quality. These experiences are channelled into an innovative Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to showcase how cities are harnessing nature-based solutions (NBS) for its green transformation processes, together with local communities. The 6-week course provides theoretical and practical knowledge on how to set up a nature-based regeneration strategy, evaluate the impacts of NBS and develop sustainable business models. The second edition of the MOOC includes a module focusing on NBS impact on urban health based on the EU research project GoGreenRoutes .

The course is suited for those familiar with basic scientific methods at graduate level and anyone interested in urban regeneration with nature.
